"How do individual objects, put in a series or into a context which relates them, generate a journal? Can such a series assembled in a completely subjective circumstance inspire associations which resonate on a universal level? Explore condensed and exploded memory of time and place." journal entry, November 16, 1992

You are a bloom indeed.

This is a lovely way to walk towards 40 with some intention. As usual I did not stride as carefully.

It strikes me that you have been "considering the lay of the land and water" since I've known you (and before, of course). Your gestures have the same phrasing but the scale and context continue to move.

I look forward to the coming thoughts and blooms.

Kristin, what a lovely and unique way to move toward your 40th birthday. I can't believe so much time has gone by from that beautiful precocious 2 year old pouring water over her head on a Florida beach to the outstanding artist you have become. Your blooms are beautiful. I love you.

I like the turnips with their little pinkies burrowing into the earth. A beautifully condensed image of time and place that give me pause and engenders a memory.....

Lovely to have your daily doses!
